High BP with Breathlessness: Should You Worry?

High blood pressure with breathlessness shouldn’t be ignored, particularly when breathing difficulty is sudden, persistent, or getting worse. Severe hypertension can increase the workload on the heart and contribute to heart failure, while breathlessness may also arise from lung disease or other cardiac problems. The cause needs proper assessment rather than being assumed from the blood pressure reading alone.
