Heart failure

Heart failure means heart pumping that is EF (Ejection Fraction) is less than 40%. If one has symptoms of shortness of breath, tiredness, blackout, dry cough, breathless specially when lying down, one has to do is EF on ECHO and BNP test to rule out heart failure. Early diagnosis and treatment with medicine, salt and water restriction and risk factor control will solve 90% of cases of heart failure.
